This contract position focuses on serving as an Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) Center-based Teacher, making a direct impact on students’ social, emotional, and academic achievements within a creative and collaborative school community.

Primary duties will include:

• Delivering specialized instruction and supports to students with emotional and behavioral needs in alignment with IEPs.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to foster inclusive and effective learning experiences.
• Designing and adapting instructional materials to ensure accessibility for all learners.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ongoing progress reporting for assigned caseloads.
• Engaging actively with families and caregivers to support student growth and well-being.
• Utilizing school-wide initiatives such as Project Lead the Way Launch to infuse STEM concepts throughout special education instruction.

Qualifications required:

• Current Minnesota teaching certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4) in Special Education; please ensure certification and updated resume are included with your application.
• Previous experience teaching students with emotional or behavioral disorders is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and team-building abilities.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, positive, and adaptive classroom environment.
