Experienced and passionate special education professionals are sought for a variety of rewarding roles supporting students across district schools within a thriving educational community. These full-time, contract positions span the 2026–2027 school year, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives and collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Available positions include:

• Special Education Assessment: Focus on comprehensive special education evaluations, eligibility determinations, evaluation report writing, and collaborative IEP development district-wide.
• Setting III/IV (Restore Program) High School: Provide therapeutic and academic support to students with significant behavioral, emotional, and academic needs, utilizing trauma-informed practices, crisis prevention, FBAs, and BIPs.
• Elementary ASD Center-Based: Multiple openings serving students in a center-based program for Autism Spectrum Disorder, emphasizing structured teaching, sensory strategies, and individualized supports.

Ideal Background & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License, or eligibility through reciprocity.
• Demonstrated expertise in IEP development, implementation, and case management.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA compliance and Minnesota Special Education requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience and Licensure:

• Licensure in areas such as ABS, ASD, EBD, DD, or LD is highly valued.
• Experience in ASD, emotional/behavioral disorders, setting III/IV, PBIS, and MTSS environments.
• Conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and supporting both elementary and secondary students.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and implement IEPs and provide specially designed instruction.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families.
• Ensure a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
