Preferred Background & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License, or eligibility to obtain via reciprocity
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of IDEA and current special education compliance requirements
• Proven collaboration and communication skills with educators and families
• Specializations in areas such as Academic/Behavioral Strategist (ABS), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Developmental Disabilities (DD), or Learning Disabilities (LD) are highly valued

• Develop, deliver, and monitor effective IEPs tailored to student goals
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
• Employ best practices in behavior management, crisis prevention, and inclusive instruction
