Step into a meaningful role supporting students as an onsite Special Education Teacher for an elementary resource caseload beginning this August and continuing through early June of the following year. Candidates should possess the skills required for effective classroom and resource instruction within a special education setting, including modifying curriculum, collaborating with colleagues and families, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier 4); required at time of application
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-level students in a resource setting
• Deep understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Adaptability and commitment to differentiated instruction
• Strong interpersonal skills for partnership with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Current resume and certification required with application

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and support to elementary students according to their IEP goals
• Coordinate and adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs
• Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers and associated professionals
• Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
