What you'll bring:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
• Experience or passion for working with students with emotional and behavioral needs
• Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to collaborate with families, teaching teams, and support staff
• Flexibility, creativity, and a commitment to fostering a positive classroom environment
• Enthusiasm for integrative approaches connecting mathematics, science, and hands-on engineering concepts

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students in an Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) center-based setting
• Develop and monitor individualized learning plans in alignment with state and district standards
• Use evidence-based strategies to address behavioral and academic challenges
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom community
• Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and administrative staff
• Document progress, communicate with caregivers, and participate in IEP meetings
• Stay current with professional development and best practices in special education

This is a Monday through Friday role, with a total of 37.5 hours per week, beginning in early September 2026 and concluding in June 2027.
