Key Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure in Special Education (various licensures will be considered)
• Preferably experienced working with students on the autism spectrum (ASD)
• Passion for student growth and individualized education
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Familiarity with IEP processes and adapting instruction to diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and support to elementary students in special education
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance and individual progress
• Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that supports all learners
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other professionals
• Partner with families to communicate progress, challenges, and strategies for success
• Maintain accurate records as required

This part-time role (.4 FTE) requires being on-site five days per week for partial-day sessions. You’ll become an integral part of the educational community, building meaningful connections and expanding your impact in special education. The assignment follows the school calendar, beginning September 1, 2026 and concluding June 4, 2027.
