Blazer Jobs is seeking a motivated new graduate Speech-Language Pathologist to begin a Clinical Fellowship Year in Anoka, Minnesota. Rather than navigating your first year alone, you’ll receive dedicated CF supervision and professional support while gaining hands-on experience in a school setting. About the Position
The Clinical Fellow will provide speech and language services to students while working under qualified supervision. This role offers new graduates the opportunity to develop clinical independence, collaborate with educational teams, participate in IEPs, and complete the professional experience required for ASHA certification.
Job Duties
- Provide speech and language therapy services based on student needs and IEP goals
- Conduct screenings and evaluations under appropriate supervision
- Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies
- Monitor student progress and document clinical outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Provide evidence-based intervention for articulation, language, fluency, social communication, and other needs
- Track CF hours and maintain required documentation
- Participate in ongoing CF supervision and mentoring
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completion of required academic coursework and supervised clinical practicum
- Eligible to begin a Clinical Fellowship
- Eligible for Minnesota Clinical Fellowship licensure or the applicable school-based credential pathway
- Minnesota requires clinical fellowship candidates to obtain the appropriate clinical fellowship license when practicing under the state’s health-profession licensure pathway
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
