Qualifications & Experience:

• Active special education teaching license in Minnesota (other appropriate licensures considered)
• Experience working in elementary schools, ideally in special education settings
• Preference for individuals with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) teaching experience or certification
• Ability to tailor instruction to meet diverse needs
• Collaborative approach to working with staff, parents, and administration
• Strong communication skills and a patient, caring attitude

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction in a classroom setting, on-site five days a week for partial days
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Manage classroom routines and behavior supports
• Deliver interventions aligned with students’ goals and best practices for inclusive education
