This contract opportunity begins in late August and runs through early June, offering the chance to work in a collaborative school environment focused on student growth and inclusion.

Your role will involve delivering specially designed instruction, collaborating with general education staff, and monitoring student progress as part of a dedicated support team. By managing a caseload of elementary learners, you’ll provide individualized educational plans and help foster a positive, supportive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification—Tier 3 or Tier 4 (required; must be attached with your resume to apply)
• Previous experience as a special education teacher, ideally at the elementary level
• Deep understanding of IEP development and case management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet a variety of student needs
• Commitment to upholding inclusive practices in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver resource special education support to elementary students throughout the school year
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in meetings with parents, staff, and related support professionals
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to support inclusive practices and positive student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Foster a safe, engaging, and respectful learning atmosphere

This contract is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, immersing you in a supportive and mission-focused school culture.
