Carpenter Apprentice – Build Your Career with Homebound Construction LLC

Learn a skilled trade. Get paid while you do it.

Homebound is looking for a motivated Carpenter Apprentice who wants to build a long-term career in the construction industry—not just find another job.

As a Carpenter Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced carpenters on residential remodeling and construction projects while completing the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Apprenticeship Program. This is a hands-on, earn-while-you-learn opportunity that provides classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and a clear path toward becoming a skilled journeyman carpenter. Our goal is to give you the path to stay and grow with Homebound or move on to start your own company if that's what is best for your situation.

What You'll Do

• Assist with residential remodeling and carpentry projects
• Learn framing, finish carpentry, siding, roofing, and other construction skills
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Work alongside experienced craftsmen who are invested in your success
• Attend and successfully complete the ABC apprenticeship curriculum

What We're Looking For

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work
• No experience required—we'll teach the right person

What We Offer

• Competitive starting pay with opportunities for advancement
• Paid, hands-on training
• Enrollment in the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Apprenticeship Program
• Earn while you learn with a nationally recognized apprenticeship
• Opportunities for wage increases as you develop your skills
• A team that values craftsmanship, integrity, and personal growth

If you're tired of dead-end jobs and want to build a career you can be proud of, we'd love to meet you.

Homebound Construction is a remodeling and general contracting company committed to building with excellence, integrity, and purpose. Many of the principles that guide our business are rooted in biblical wisdom. For example, we choose to operate debt-free because Proverbs 22:7 teaches, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender." We strive to seek God's wisdom in our daily decisions, believing that those principles lead to a stronger business, healthier relationships, and better outcomes for everyone involved.

Our mission is to create an environment where people can grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. We believe that exceptional craftsmanship begins with exceptional people, and that investing in our team produces better work, better service, and lasting success. We don't just build homes—we seek to help build the lives and futures of the people who build them.
