Positions: Accounting Assistant
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 an hour pending experience
Hours: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Location: Spring Hill Fl
(No Remote or Hybrid)
Essential Functions:
· Manage and update financial records, including journals, ledgers, and accounting documents.
· Review customer invoices before sending them out to ensure freight charges match those from our shipping partners (UPS, FedEx, 3rd party carriers).
· Reconcile bank and credit card statements, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
· Process approved credit memos in our ERP system, entering and completing them through the order screen.
· Review 3rd party freight invoices to ensure charges match amounts billed to customers and issue additional invoices as needed.
· Assist the A/P clerk with matching and filing purchase orders with the supporting paperwork.
· Assist customers with billing inquiries or reprinting invoices as needed.
· Perform clerical tasks such as filing or sorting as time allows.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
· 3-5 years in accounting roles.
· 2-5 years of experience with ERP systems, A/P, A/R, and invoicing.
· Proficient in accounting software ADP QuickBooks or similar software.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
