Our client in Mechanicsburg is seeking a long-term part-time contractor to join their team. The selected individual will work within the accounting sector, assisting with various accounting functions. This role focuses on managing customer records, resolving inquiries, and processing applications. The hours are flexible, but generally every other Friday is preferred, and the ideal schedule would be three 7.5 hour days per week.
Responsibilities:
• Make miscellaneous entries on our portfolio accounting system as required
• Reconcile 1099’s for accuracy, ensuring all information is correct
• Assist with reports required by the PA Department of Banking and other audits to maintain compliance
• Create client presentations in Power Point to communicate financial information effectively
• Perform day-to-day functions related to QuickBooks and our portfolio accounting system for seamless operations
• Work on special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the accounting team.
