We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. As an Accounting Assistant, you will undertake a variety of tasks such as maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and managing accounts payable and receivable. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process vendor invoices and prepare them for payment signature.
• Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, etc.
• Ensure customer invoices are prepared and submitted on time.
• Efficiently code, post, and receipt payments.
• Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices and take appropriate action.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable data.
• Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient data entry and management.
• Perform bank reconciliations as part of auditing processes.
• Provide administrative assistance as required for efficient functioning of the accounts department.
• Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for efficient management of accounting functions.
