The Neighborhood Law Group is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to work closely with the supervising attorney and play a central role in the day-to-day progression of community association foreclosure matters.
This position is designed for a litigation paralegal who wants greater responsibility, deeper involvement in each matter, and the opportunity to make a visible impact on the firm’s work and client experience.
Prior foreclosure experience is helpful but not required. We are looking for someone with a strong litigation foundation who can learn the foreclosure process and develop increasing independence over the procedural and operational aspects of the docket under attorney supervision.
The Opportunity You will help move foreclosure matters from the initial review for litigation through settlement, judgment, sale, dismissal, or other resolution.
Your role will include reviewing files for readiness, maintaining accurate financial information, preparing litigation documents, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and ensuring that each matter has a clear next step.
You will also have the opportunity to develop specialized experience in foreclosure and community association law while contributing to the systems and workflows used by the department.
What You Will Do Review collection matters, ledgers, notices, liens, title information, ownership records, and supporting documentation for foreclosure readiness
Required Qualifications At least three years of recent litigation experience in a law-firm environment
Preferred Experience Florida Courts E-Filing Portal Foreclosure or creditors’ rights Collections or community association law or Real Estate law Clio Manage or a comparable legal case-management system Payoff, settlement, estoppel-related, or judgment calculations Prior foreclosure experience is not required. Education will be considered together with practical law-firm experience and demonstrated ability.
Schedule and Work Arrangement This is a full-time position initially performed from our Coral Gables office. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch. An earlier start time with a corresponding earlier departure may be considered. Limited hybrid flexibility may become available after training and demonstrated consistent performance. Overtime is not ordinarily expected. Courthouse appearances and routine local travel are not required. On-site parking is provided.
Compensation and Benefits The salary range is $60,000–$70,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. Benefits include: Health insurance Dental insu
