Job Title: Accounting Manager

This dynamic role changes from overseeing both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable in the first year to extending oversight to customer tooling, fixed assets and other accounting functions in the second year. The successful candidate will lead a team of 6+ accounting professionals, implementing technology enhancements and process improvements while maintaining a high ethical standard.

Key responsibilities include enhancing the internal control system, managing tax returns and payments, and reducing accounting close time, all while championing the drive towards a fully efficient and effective Accounting function.

To succeed in this role, candidates should ideally have a minimum of 10 years accounting experience, a CPA certification, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset. Travel will occasionally be necessary.

Additional consideration given to those with audit, treasury, or manufacturing experience, a process improvement certificate, and a stable career history. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
• A minimum of 10 years diverse accounting experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrable continuous improvement mindset, shown through a career focused on waste reduction and productivity achievement.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and develop process improvement solutions.
• A self-starter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, expected to drive process improvement efforts.
• Stability in job tenure, with minimal job transitions over career.

Preferences:

• Previous experience in auditing and treasury roles.
• Process improvement certification, such as CI yellow belt.
• Past work experience in a manufacturing company.
