LHH is partnered with a local accounting firm seeking a tax focused accounting manager to join their client-centric organization. Due to organic growth, this organization is adding a consultative tax planner/small business advisor to help maintain client relationships & join their family-like team of professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide exceptional customer service as the primary contact for a section of clients, including long-term business relationships.
Review and analyze financial statements prepared by staff accountants and provide consulting and advice to clients.
Prepare and review business and personal tax returns, and assist clients with ongoing tax planning.
Handle installations for new clients and manage back work for new client setups.
Offer business and financial advice, as well as computer and software support, to service our clients effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-6 years of accounting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
Experience with business compilations and tax returns (business and personal).
Knowledge of payroll and sales taxes.
EA or CPA candidates preferred; certifications can be earned on the job.
Opportunity is Hybrid after training period.
This position pays 75K-95K plus incentive bonus, profit sharing & safe harbor matching; benefits apply to hiring company
