We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team in San Jose, California. This role is integral to our financial operations, overseeing various financial functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our accounting processes. As an Accounting Manager, your focus will be on managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, commissions, general ledger, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and systems implementation.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and commissions
• Assist with the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports
• Implement and maintain systems and procedures to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the accounting department
• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications and ensure they are handled accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
• Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role in the financial sector
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required
• Solid understanding of basic and advanced accounting principles
• Proficiency in handling Month End Close processes
• Previous experience in Public Accounting is a must
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
• Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
