Job Overview:
The Director of Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the organization's human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compensation and labor law compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management, with a strong focus on compliance, employee engagement, and data-driven decision-making. This role requires a high level of expertise in human resources, a passion for employee development, and the ability to maintain a positive work environment.
Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding and offboarding, ensuring compliance with employment labor law.
- Oversee the implementation of HRIS systems such as Paychex, Paylocity, and Kronos, to streamline HR processes and enhance employee data collection and analysis skills.
- Design and deliver training programs to improve employee performance management, communication, and overall job satisfaction.
- Develop and manage employee benefits programs, including FMLA administration, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement employee performance management systems, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement, using data analysis skills to inform HR decisions and drive business outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with employees, managers, and external partners to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure the organization remains compliant with all relevant employment labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in HR management, with a strong focus on compliance, employee engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven experience in HRIS systems, including Paychex, Paylocity, and Kronos, with the ability to manage and analyze employee data.
- Experience in employment labor law, with a deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including FMLA.
- A track record of developing and delivering effective training programs, with a focus on improving employee performance management and job satisfaction.
- Experience in employee benefits administration, with the ability to design and manage programs that support employee well-being and organizational goals.
- Strong experience in performance management, with the ability to design and implement systems that promote transparency and accountability.
- Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to analyze HR data and inform HR decisions and business outcomes.
