Robert Half is in search of a Sr. HR Generalist to join our client's team in the Eatontown, New Jersey area. The Sr. HR Generalist will be instrumental in promoting HR programs, assisting in talent acquisition, and enhancing job satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and the implementation of employee engagement activities.
Responsibilities:
• Create an efficient and conflict-free workplace by promoting HR programs.
• Assist in the recruitment process and talent acquisition.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of human resource policies.
• Boost job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and initiating employee engagement activities.
• Monitor, assign and implement brand standards and corporate hotel related training.
• Provide backup to onboarding for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies and payroll information, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining document signatures.
• Prepare payroll by calculating and entering pay into ADP Workforce Now, distributing checks, and maintaining payroll records.
• Maintain employee human resources records by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase dates, as well as tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
• Assist in administering employee benefits programs, medical insurance, and disability programs by advising employees of eligibility, providing application information, helping with form completion, verifying submission, and notifying employees of approvals.
• Document and track human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Accomplish human resources department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations in collaboration with the HR Director.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR Generalist role
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and Dayforce
• Experience in Benefit Functions
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Compliance rules and regulations
• Proven track record in Employee Relations
• Understanding of FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act)
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions
