Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled MECM Intune/Autopilot Packaging Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and execution of packaging applications for deployment through Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Intune, and Windows Autopilot. This role requires technical expertise in application packaging, scripting, and a thorough understanding of MECM, Intune, and Autopilot deployment methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain application packaging standards for MECM, Intune, and Autopilot environments.
• Create and customize application packages for various software and ensure compatibility with MECM, Intune, and Autopilot deployment methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather software deployment requirements and design appropriate packaging solutions.
• Perform quality assurance checks on application packages to ensure they meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related issues within MECM, Intune, and Autopilot systems.
• Implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline the application packaging and deployment processes.
• Maintain documentation related to packaging standards, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in application packaging and deployment using MECM, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, or batch scripting.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and software deployment best practices.
• Familiarity with software distribution, patch management, and configuration management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Manager, Intune, Windows, etc.) would be a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern management and deployment technologies within an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of application virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and Microsoft Azure services.
