About Us: B-Comp Services is a well-established IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) located in Westminster, Colorado. We provide comprehensive IT support and services to businesses, ensuring their technology infrastructure is robust and reliable. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Tier 2 Computer Support Engineer / Helpdesk support who is also willing to perform onsite visits as a Field Service Technician.
Responsibilities:
Please note that this is an on-site position, and you will be expected to work from our office. This is not a remote position. You must also own a car because occasional onsite visits are required. As a Tier 2 Computer Support Engineer, you will provide advanced support to end-users of Windows and Windows networks. This role involves but is not limited to:
- Supporting businesses using Windows Server 2012-2019, Windows 10/11, Mac OS X, and Exchange 2013-2019.
- Amazon Web Services
- Microsoft Azure and Office 365
- Google Workspace
- Support, troubleshoot application software and SaaS solutions like DropBox, OneDrive, Google Drive & Amazon WorkDocs.
- Resolving issues related to peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, fax and e-fax, and VOIP phone systems.
- Performing migrations of on-premises workloads to cloud-hosted environments.
- Providing support for Cisco ASA, pfSense, Fortigate, and SonicWALL firewalls.
- Supporting wireless infrastructure.
- Configuring and troubleshooting network switches, including VLAN and QoS.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting BackupExec, Veeam, and other cloud-hosted backup solutions.
- Monitoring and updating commercial antivirus solutions.
- Troubleshooting and implementing LAN/WAN connectivity and supporting end-user remote connectivity.
- Providing application support for technologies specific to customer businesses.
- Analyzing end-user needs and developing solutions to customer challenges.
- Recommending hardware and software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency.
- Documenting customer operating environments and procedures.
- Performing routine software maintenance and upgrades.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Networking, System Administration, Security, Cloud, O365 and Modern Desktop, Visualization and Storage, are highly preferred.
- Candidates who possess networking certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CCNP will be given preference over those who do not.
- Candidates with System Administration and Cloud certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or CompTIA Cloud+ will also be given preference.
- Security Certifications preferred include or similar to CompTIA Security+, CISSP, and CEH.
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology is preferred but not required.
- Extensive Windows support experience.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented with strong customer service skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license for onsite visits.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $55K - $65K Salary depending on experience

Additional Information:
- This position requires occasional weekends on-call and some overtime hours.
