We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in various project work, with a significant focus on PCI compliance and security compliance. You'll handle a combination of project tasks and escalations, contributing to the overall efficiency and security of our IT operations.
Typical Day:
Engage in project work, focusing on PCI compliance and security compliance.
Manage and update IT policies, review products, and contribute to our ongoing Windows 11 deployment effort.
Assist in transitioning workspaces to JAMF and Intune, collaborating closely with MSP for implementation.
Handle escalations (approximately 20% of your time) and participate in diverse projects (around 80% of your time).
Contribute to deploying new machines to users and assist in the transition to Windows 11.
Actively participate in team projects, focusing on hands-on tasks rather than purely helpdesk functions.
Technical Environment:
Must-Have Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years in IT support or a related field.
Higher-Level Desktop Projects: Proven experience in implementing new products and managing high-level desktop projects.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to integrate seamlessly with the team and customers. You should be approachable, skilled in building rapport, and comfortable tackling high-exposure and high-pressure tasks.
Microsoft Products: Experience with handling higher-level escalation tickets involving Microsoft products.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: A passion for documentation, knowledge sharing, and managing ticketing systems.
Endpoint Management: Experience with JAMF, patching, building deployment packages, and using Qualys.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with JAMF, Intune, and WorkspaceOne.
