We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Wire Transfer Specialist in Miami Lakes, Florida. The role falls under the banking industry and primarily involves tasks related to payment services. The workplace is dynamic and requires a candidate skilled in banking software, data processing, check processing, collection processes, credit, wire transfer, swift, fedwire, and check 21.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process daily wire transfer transactions including outgoing, incoming, and internal transfers via FEDWIRE and/or SWIFT ALLIANCE using established systems.
• Verify customer instructions and ensure adherence to security procedures such as call backs and signature verifications.
• Comply with Travel Rule and other related regulations when processing wire transfers.
• Confirm the functionality of the OFAC program engine and ensure override information is available for OFAC-approved transactions.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of issues related to wire transfer payments within established guidelines.
• Participate in the reconciliation of discrepancies related to the Payments Service area.
• Collaborate in processing Check 21 and ACH transactions when required.
• Process wire transfers received through BS Online and assist in resolving incidents or errors related to wire transfer payments investigations following established procedures.
• Support coordination in the receipt and sending of payment orders and other documentation.
• Contribute to the achievement of department and Bank objectives and goals.
• Assist in identifying pending transactions in reconciliation reports and requesting information necessary for their regularization.• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in the use of banking software
• Strong understanding of data processing techniques
• Experience in check processing procedures
• Familiarity with collection processes and their application in the banking sector
• Knowledge of credit systems and their functionality
• Experience in wire transfer operations
• Understanding of Swift and Fedwire systems
• Familiarity with Check 21 regulations and application in banking operations
