Robert Half is actively recruiting for a knowledgeable Accounting Manager/ Consultant to support our private equity backed Healthcare client. The consultant will be responsible for standardizing the Chart of Accounts across six entities, identify similar accounts, recommend deletion of unused accounts, adding accounts to ensure any future transactions are accurately recorded. In addition, the consultant will ensure all entities have the same mapping from the Chart of Accounts to the Consolidated Financial Statements and ensure consistency on segment reporting. This role will be located onsite in Long Beach, CA

Skills:

-Advanced understanding of chart of accounts and segment reporting

-Strong US GAAP experience

-Excellent written/verbal communication skills required

-Knowledge of Quickbooks preferred

-Must be able to work independently

-Roll-up the sleeves individual

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting functions and financial reporting is required
• Experience with preparing trial balance and consolidated financial statements is necessary
• Knowledge and experience in handling general ledger tasks
• Must be proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Must have a strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required
• Must have strong communication and team management skills
• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualification would be a plus
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines is essential
• Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
