Privately held Chandler Company is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager/Controller. The accounting department is a team of 1. You will be hands on and mentor 1 staff.
If you understand GAAP accounting, are able to complete full cycle close with financials, recognize something wrong, and are comfortable going into an environment with minimal training, this position is for you!
What you will do:
• Management reporting & financial statements
• General ledger month end journal entries and reconciliations
• Client billing
• Work with outside CPA firm
• Implement new processes as needed
What you will have:
• B.S. in Accounting or related desired but not required
• The ability to perform duties with minimal training
• The ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience with Month End and Financials
