We are on the hunt for a seasoned professional who possesses in-depth knowledge of accounting, fixed assets, and payroll. As our Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our company’s general ledger, processing payroll, preparing tax returns, and managing internal financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing internal controls in collaboration with the CFO

• Generating ad hoc financial reports and completing other projects as needed

• Overseeing and analyzing all general ledger aspects

• Timely preparation of monthly financial statements

• Collaborating in year-end review preparation and tax return processing

• Managing data effectively through compilation and analysis

• Preparing and filing monthly, quarterly sales tax, and 1099 returns

• Paying and reporting excise tax and VA diversion fees

• Processing biweekly payroll and ensuring accuracy

• Monitoring and entering payroll deductions in collaboration with HR

• Overseeing company cell phones and managing platforms

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience

• Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication alongside stellar organizational skills

• At least 3 years of experience in a position similar to this or a related accounting role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Accounting Functions

• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven ability to reconcile payroll

• Experience in Month End Close Procedures

• Competency in reviewing financial statements for accuracy

• Experience in managing accounts for multiple entities

• Ability to work both independently and as a team member

• Adherence to a high ethical standard and integrity
