Robert Half is searching for an Accounting Manager for a local organization! The ideal Accounting Manager will have experience working with reviewing work, managing and mentoring a team, and have a strong financial accounting background. Accounting Managers from any industry will work for this role as long as you have a Bachelor's Degree and willing to learn the industry specifics for Accounting and Fianace. If you happen to have a CPA and/or industry experience, we could get closer to the top of the salary range for you with this client!!! Please send your resume in for details ASAP!!!!

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license would be a PLUS

• Proven experience in a managerial role within an accounting department is necessary.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Auditing and General Ledger management.

• Must possess expertise in Month End Close procedures.

• Demonstrated leadership qualities and excellent management skills.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

• Should be able to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet set deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

• Previous experience in the industry required for the higher end of the salary range

• Must be a current VT resident for this role
