We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a FP& A Manager in Morristown, New Jersey. The individual will be part of a team that is responsible for various financial planning and analysis functions including the implementation of the Data Rails FP& A platform. The role will involve the use of various data mining techniques and the implementation of complex financial models.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP& A) operations

• Utilize data mining techniques to gather and analyze financial data

• Develop and implement complex financial models to aid in decision-making

• Collaborate with the team to carry out accounting functions

• Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data

• Design and implement financial models in line with business needs

• Ensure the accuracy of customer credit records

• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Utilize Adaptive Insights and Anaplan for effective CRM and EPM operations.

• The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the field of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A).

• Proficiency in financial modeling is a must. The candidate should have a solid background in developing and managing complex financial models.

• The individual should have a strong understanding of design implementation and the ability to apply these principles in a financial context.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Data Rails is required, including the ability to use advanced functions and features for financial analyses.

• The candidate must have a proven track record of formulating and executing financial strategies, including the creation of complex financial models.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a necessity for this role.

• The candidate should have strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.

• A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

• The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• The individual should have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
