We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an FP& A Manager/Supervisor in the Machinery Manufacturing industry located in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting annual budgeting and forecasting, managing capital expenditures, inventory, and sales, and communicating strategic plans to senior management.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Utilize tier II Excel skills to analyze and present budget and forecasting plans
• Manage and control capital expenditures and inventory
• Communicate effectively with senior management regarding budget and forecasting plans
• Participate in strategic planning and modeling scenarios
• Assist in strategic decision making by providing relevant financial insights
• Prepare and present the budget to senior management
• Use accounting functions to maintain accurate records and ensure financial stability
• Collaborate with the business unit to align financial plans with business strategies
• Utilize Excel formulas to assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP& A) role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in managing accounting functions.
• Demonstrable expertise in annual budget planning and execution.
• Familiarity with budget processes and business unit operations.
• Experience in capital management is crucial.
• Proficient in budgeting and forecasting.
• Previous involvement in conducting annual inventory audits.
• Mastery of Excel formulas for financial data analysis.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced knowledge of financial software and database systems.
