Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Texas SLP license or eligibility for state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise on strategies and supports
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel heard and supported
