Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Texas or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but energetic new graduates are welcome
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) skills highly desired for one of the openings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking for compliance and student success
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions to facilitate students’ academic and social achievement
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student participation and reach their potential
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
