Due to continued growth, they are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. Position Overview The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Accounts Payable and invoicing functions within a high-volume transaction environment. This position is ideal for an accounting detail oriented who is comfortable working with both automated and manual processes, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Process a high volume of vendor invoices (approximately 800 invoices per month) Review, code, and enter invoices accurately and timely Process customer rebates, credit memos, and adjustments Support accounts payable activities, including vendor communications and payment processing Reconcile vendor statements and investigate invoice discrepancies Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Work within a legacy DOS-based Oracle system and support manual accounting processes as needed Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and customer service teams to resolve invoicing and payment issues Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives Hybrid work schedule Competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunity to join a stable, growing private equity-backed organization Collaborative team environment with strong leadership support Career growth opportunities within a large manufacturing company If you are a hands-on accounting detail oriented who enjoys high-volume processing, problem-solving, and working in a dynamic manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or invoicing experience Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice processing, reconciliations, and credits/rebates Comfortable working in legacy systems and manual processing environments Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
