Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, speech/language assessments, and intervention planning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with each student’s IEP
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to share strategies and progress updates
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute collaboratively to multidisciplinary teams
