We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will arrive approximately 30 minutes before the provider's schedule begins to prepare rooms, ensure they are fully stocked, and review the daily schedule. You will assist with setting up surgical trays and preparing for scheduled procedures. Our fast-paced environment involves seeing patients every 15 minutes, where you will room the patient, conduct interviews, document chief complaints and history, and act as a scribe. You will be responsible for creating preliminary notes for the doctor, providing patient instructions, removing sutures, and handling emails and phone calls, including communicating pathology results to patients.
ResponsibilitiesOur office is expansive, occupying the entire second floor of the building. We have fostered a positive and flexible culture, currently accommodating 16 medical assistants. The office is undergoing renovations to enhance its size and aesthetics. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with one medical assistant starting at 6:45 am to accommodate a physician who arrives at 7 am. The office environment is close-knit, with medical assistants providing direct support to doctors.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
