Three full-time contract roles are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers at two schools, starting this August. Bring your passion for individualized instruction to resource, RISE, or STARS programs and foster student success throughout the upcoming school year.

Position Details:

• Resource Program at a junior high school: Monday–Friday, 7:50am–3:15pm (30-minute unpaid lunch), commencing August 20
• RISE Program at a high school: Monday–Friday, 7:05am–2:35pm (30-minute unpaid lunch), August 20 through November 11
• STARS Program at a junior high school: Monday–Friday, 7:50am–3:15pm (30-minute unpaid lunch), starting August 20

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential/license for the state
• Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and related service providers
• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
• Deep commitment to creating inclusive educational environments
• Previous experience with resource, RISE, or STARS programs is preferred but not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support to students in resource or specialized classroom settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Use data to assess student progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
• Collaborate with general education staff and participate in team meetings
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to support student learning
