Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in the Oneonta, Louisiana area. About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SLP to provide evaluation, therapy, consultation, and communication support to students in a school-based setting.

Job Duties

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct speech and language therapy
• Complete assessments and progress documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Provide evidence-based interventions
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment strategies
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow state, district, and federal requirements

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Appropriate Louisiana Department of Education credential/authorization for school-based practice, as required by the assignment
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility for the applicable supervised Clinical Fellowship pathway
• Completion of required supervised clinical experience
• Knowledge of IDEA and school-based service delivery
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
