Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current NY SLP license in good standing
• TSHH (Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped) or TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) – DOE certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior school-based SLP experience is a plus but not required
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and design individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and support for students’ speech and language needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to optimize student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet special education regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student plans
