ProCare Therapy is hiring Paraprofessionals and Behavior Technicians (Para/BTs) for multiple school-based contract opportunities in the San Bernardino, California area for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions support students with special education and behavioral needs across a variety of grade levels and classroom settings.

Position Details

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• 2026–2027 school year assignments
• Multiple openings across elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Opportunities may include:
• One-on-one student support
• Classroom behavioral support
• Autism support programs
• Special education classroom assistance
• Behavioral intervention support services
• Caseloads and student needs may vary by assignment
• Pay $23-26 Based on Experience and Caseload 

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students throughout the school day
• Assist with behavior management and classroom engagement
• Support implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Help students with academics, transitions, and daily routines
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality within the school setting
• Promote positive student behavior and participation
• Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working with children or behavioral support preferred
• Experience in school, ABA, or special education settings preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
• Ability to work effectively within educational teams
• RBT certification preferred for Behavior Technician assignments, but not required for all openings
