Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities across production equipment, facilities, and supporting infrastructure. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of plant machinery, building systems, and overall facility conditions in both production and non-production areas, with a strong focus on equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production machinery.
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain and repair conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to support production needs and process improvements.
- Repair and maintain building structures and systems, including roofing systems and leak repairs, flooring (concrete, tile, epoxy), doors, windows, partitions, and interior and exterior building structures.
- Perform general facility repairs such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
- Maintain HVAC systems, lighting, and utility systems to ensure proper building functionality and a comfortable, safe environment.
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on both production equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address maintenance needs before they impact operations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and any modifications performed on equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with production and other support teams to minimize downtime and coordinate maintenance activities around operational requirements.
Essential Skills
- Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance and machine repair in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in facilities maintenance, including building repairs and basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment and facility systems.
- Experience working with HVAC systems, lighting, and general utility systems.
- Knowledge of maintenance repair practices and techniques for conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and compressors.
- Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics as they apply to production machinery and facility equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow maintenance procedures and documentation while maintaining detailed service records.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with PLCs in an industrial environment is highly beneficial.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility focused on the production and support of pump systems for emergency response applications. The environment includes industrial machinery, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and facility systems such as HVAC, lighting, and utilities. The standard schedule is first shift
