Audit & Assurance Professionals – Senior through Senior Manager

Location: Torrance, California
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full Time
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Compensation: Approximately $100,000–$260,000 annually, depending on experience and level

Legacy Career Solutions is recruiting experienced audit and assurance professionals for multiple direct-hire opportunities with an established public accounting firm in Torrance.

Openings are available at several levels, including:

• Assurance Senior
• Assurance Manager
• Assurance Senior Manager
• Experienced Assurance Staff

Responsibilities

Depending upon experience and level, responsibilities may include:

• Planning and performing audit and assurance engagements
• Preparing and reviewing audit workpapers
• Testing financial records, controls, and supporting documentation
• Identifying accounting, reporting, and internal-control issues
• Preparing financial statements and related disclosures
• Communicating engagement findings to clients and firm leadership
• Managing engagement schedules, budgets, staffing, and deadlines
• Supervising and developing junior audit professionals
• Maintaining compliance with professional standards
• Supporting client relationships and business-development efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field
• Current or recent public accounting audit experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and applicable auditing standards
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience managing multiple engagements and deadlines
• Experience reviewing work and mentoring staff for leadership-level positions
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA licensure preferred for senior roles
• CPA license generally expected for manager and senior-manager consideration
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance
• Ability to travel to client locations when necessary

Compensation will depend upon experience, credentials, technical expertise, and the position level.
