Mobile Medical Assistant / Clinical Assistant
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends | East County San Diego
Comprehensive Medicine / California Mobile Physicians is seeking a full-time Mobile Medical Assistant / Clinical Assistant to join our growing house-call medical team.
This is not a typical medical assistant position.
Rather than spending the entire day in a medical office rooming one patient after another, you will work directly alongside an experienced medical provider caring for patients in their homes and assisted living communities throughout San Diego County.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys patient care, wants variety in their workday, and wants to develop strong real-world clinical skills.
A Unique Clinical Opportunity
Our Mobile Medical Assistants are an important part of the medical team and work closely with our physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, patients, families, facility nurses, administrators, home health agencies, and office staff.
You will typically spend the first portion of your day traveling with a provider to see patients in their homes and assisted living facilities. Depending on the day’s schedule, you may finish your workday at our Alpine office in East County San Diego, approximately 10–15 minutes east of El Cajon.
This position provides considerably more hands-on clinical exposure than a traditional office MA role.
