Staff Accountant

The successful candidate will be organized, analytical, and committed to delivering high-quality work while managing multiple client engagements and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns.
- Perform audit, review, and compilation engagements.
- Perform bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries.
- Prepare payroll tax returns and other required tax filings.
- Assist with tax planning and research.
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Stay current on federal and state tax laws and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with partners and team members to provide exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- CPA license or CPA candidate preferred.
- Knowledge of individual and business tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks preferred.
- Experience with payroll and payroll tax preparation preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
