Monday–Thursday | 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (with occasional Fridays)

We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and organized Dental Patient Services Coordinator to join our growing team.
Position Summary
As the Dental Patient Services Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient office environment.
This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, supporting patient scheduling and communication, and ensuring a smooth experience from check-in to check-out.
Your professionalism, communication skills, and attention to detail will help support both our team and our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and recall systems
- Handle patient check-in and check-out, including collecting co-pays and providing treatment estimates
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, account balances, and insurance questions
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Perform general computer and keyboard tasks
- Occasionally travel to other locations if needed (primary assignment will be Green Hills in Nashville, TN)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of dental front office experience required
- Specialty practice experience preferred (Periodontics or Oral Surgery a plus)
- Cross-trained Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs) encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional dental training preferred)
