Clinical Research Coordinator

• Supporting the coordination and execution of clinical research protocols under the supervision of Principal Investigators and senior research staff
• Conducting screening visits to collect medical history and information from study participants
• Assisting with informed consent and enrollment of study participants according to protocols and ethical guidelines
• Coordinating and scheduling study visits, procedures, and follow-up activities with participants and clinical teams
• Collecting, recording, and maintaining accurate clinical research data and documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards
• Communicating with study participants to provide education and support adherence to study requirements
• Monitoring study progress and reporting adverse events or protocol deviations to the research team
• Adhering to site SOPs and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
• Drawing, processing, and shipping laboratory specimens (including handling dangerous goods if qualified)
• Scanning, uploading, filing, and maintaining organized study records
• Applying critical thinking skills to support efficient study operations and resolve problems
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required); associate’s degree or higher in a health-related field (preferred)
• Possess basic knowledge of clinical research (strongly preferred)
• Have experience in medical terminology and patient care (required)
• Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Communicate clearly and professionally with diverse populations
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Have knowledge of GCP, HIPAA, ALCOA principles, FDA regulations, and IATA guidelines (strongly preferred)
• Have experience with participant screening and the informed consent process (strongly preferred)
• Are proficient with electronic data capture systems, clinical trial management software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (preferred)
• Hold Medical Assistant (MA) certification (preferred), CPR/BLS certification (preferred), and/or certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (e.g., CCRC) or are willing to obtain certification (preferred)
