Successfully completes Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program. Rides-with and assists driver trainer in executing deliveries. Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations. Reports safety issues and repairs. Follows DOT regulations and safe driving policies. Inspects trailer for proper loading and security. Checks and completes delivery paperwork. Moves tractor to loading dock and attaches trailer. Drives to and delivers customer orders. Unloads products and transports to storage. Performs damage control checks and obtains signatures. Collects payments. Loads customer returns. Unloads damaged goods and returns. Completes daily hours of service logs.
