Successfully completes Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program. Rides-with and assists driver trainer in executing deliveries. Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and DOT regulations. Inspects tractor/truck and trailer for safety standards. Reports safety issues and repairs. Drives to and delivers customer orders according to schedule. Unloads products and transports items to customer storage areas. Performs damage control checks and obtains customer signatures. Collects money where required. Loads customer returns. Unloads damaged goods and customer returns. Completes daily record of hours of service. Performs general housekeeping duties.
