Successfully completes Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program. Rides-with and assists driver trainer in executing deliveries. Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and DOT regulations. Inspects tractor/truck and trailer for safety standards. Reports safety issues and repairs. Inspects trailer for loaded and secured freight. Performs count checks and verifies customer invoices. Moves tractor to loading dock and attaches trailer. Drives to and delivers customer orders. Unloads products and transports to storage areas. Performs damage control checks and obtains signatures. Collects money where required. Loads customer returns and secures trailer doors. Unloads damaged goods and returns. Completes daily record of hours of service. Performs general housekeeping duties.
