We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Brooklyn, New York. This role is primarily focused on onsite support, including equipment troubleshooting and hardware deployment. Given the nature of the role, it falls within the technology industry and requires hands-on involvement in the workplace.

Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop hardware and software.
• Set up and deploy new hardware and devices for employees.
• Provide assistance with audio-visual technology as needed.
• Manage and maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software.
• Leverage Cisco, Citrix, and Dell technologies for problem-solving.
• Use Active Directory for user account management and access control.
• Handle Apple device setup and troubleshooting.
• Implement backup technologies to protect data integrity.
• Perform configuration management to ensure system stability.
• Update and maintain the company's database systems.• Demonstrated experience in Desktop Support Analyst role or similar IT position
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Citrix Technologies
• Working knowledge of computer hardware and Dell Technologies
• Familiarity with database management
• Proficiency in Active Directory
• Experience with Apple devices and their support
• Knowledge of backup technologies and configuration management
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
• Aptitude for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
• Availability in response to needs of the customer for installation, maintenance and equipment malfunctions.
