Tyler Houk (Practice Director) with Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Agriculture industry, located in Kingsburg, California. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for various accounting duties, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger tasks. The job function also includes payroll processing and working with QuickBooks or Famous software.

Responsibilities:

• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) activities and maintaining accurate records.

• Performing Bank Reconciliations regularly to ensure financial accuracy.

• Maintaining and updating the General Ledger on a regular basis.

• Processing payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.

• Utilizing QuickBooks or Famous software for various accounting tasks.

• Performing month-end close procedures, including journal entries.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Ensuring all financial records and reports are compliant with company standards.

• Resolving customer inquiries related to their accounts in a professional manner.

• Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting, specifically within the agriculture industry.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is essential.

• Familiarity with the General Ledger and the ability to maintain it accurately is a must.

• The candidate should be competent in making Journal Entries.

• Experience in facilitating Month End Close is necessary.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks is required.
