• Proficient in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Experience in maintaining and managing General Ledger accounts
• Ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately
• Experience in performing Month End Close processes
• Proficient in making Accounting Entries as per established guidelines
• Experience with various Accounting Systems
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
New role located in Downtown Houston for a Staff Accountant role!
In this new role, you will be working closely with the Accounting Systems Manager to support the Accounting and Finance team with any systems issues that may arise.
This role will offer you the opportunity to learn under a talented manager with a solid systems background who is looking for someone who is interested in learning the company’s software system and offering insight to accounting staff throughout the company’s various locations.
To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have the following,
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Have 1-2 yrs of experience in Accounting or Finance and be able to work with accounting staff
Be systems savvy, having being involved in a systems implementation or be a systems SME
Be customer service focused
